E-mailI wasn’t going to get involved with the flag flap. I know I shouldn’t.
People either love Jerry Jones, hate Jerry Jones or have resigned themselves to the fact that he does actually own and operate the Dallas Cowboys and there’s nothing they do can change that.
The whole flag thing was much ado about nothing to me. At every Cowboys game there were flags. Outside there were flags, inside there was a color guard, at the opener there was a huge flag that covered the field. That one was spread out and held by members of our Armed Forces.
But the people spoke and Jerry listened. They wanted flags, they got flags. Permanently attached, real live American flags at each end of the stadium. Heres a picture for those who have to see to believe.
To make sure everybody had a chance to see a flag there was a large flag on the field for the Star Spangled Banner. Once again I offer photographic evidence.
Then to make sure that no one was going to miss the flag, there were flags at each end of the field on top of the field level suites.
As a Cowboy fan I am just happy they are winning, I have a beautiful Stadium to watch them in, and our Owner sometimes listens to what the fans want and makes adjustments.
