Here We Go Again

howdy buckaroos,

today was day one on the way to this years Cowboys football season.
if this was baseball the TV's, Newspapers, and blogs would be full
of folks writing how new life begins every spring.
they would write about how the sun feels so good in arizona or florida.
they would wax poetic about how the start of baseball is a metaphor for
each of our lives and how we can all start over, just like that little
plant that every year bursts out of the ground, reaching for the life filled
rays of the magnificent sun.
and for baseball thats ok, i even usually feel that way about baseball.
THIS AINT ABOUT BASEBALL !!
nope the ol Texas sun is screaming down about now, poetry is kicked to the curb.
its time to see people running into each other.
The Boys of the Blue Star need to hurry up and WIN a football game.
that disgusting taste in my mouth from last year has not gone away.
i dont care who is not here anymore, i dont care who anyone is or is not dating.
i dont care what our 2nd year tight end tweets.
right now all i want is for the season to start and for the Boys to win the game.
tons of valuable bandwidth will be wasted as the experts tell us how each pass,
drop, block or kick means each and every practice.
I DONT CARE !!! just win the games once the season starts and all that wont matter.
i am running low on patience, i am dying to see a real game in the NEW Stadium.
maybe then i will forget that sad, pitiful excuse of a last game i saw at Texas
Stadium. maybe but probably not.
ps. i may be a little rusty blogging, i held out of blog training camp for
more money. i am now being paid 10 times what i made last year.
