Stadium Pavers

So have you heard the Titans punter kicked a ball and it hit the Video-Jumbo-Godzilla-Bigger-Than-The-Side-Of-Barn-Not-A-Scoreboard-Tron ? Okay so let’s talk about something else.

Stadium Pavers. Jerry Jones learned quite a bit about what to do or not do from other stadiums. One of the things that seems to be very popular was the Stadium Paver Program, where for a certain amount of money you could immortalize your deepest thoughts and declare your undying devotion to the 5 time World Champion Dallas Cowboys (of arlington).

For even more money you could get an even bigger paver in case you have a lot of deep thoughts and even more devotion than the other guys who bought the smaller (but less expensive) paver. No matter what size you bought you also received a duplicate for you to display at your very own home. If you wanted to you could also buy a protective display case to showcase and, well, protect your paver. You smart ones out there are now asking, why do you need to protect a limestone paver aren’t you ? Sure you are because I even asked that question.

Before anyone thinks I am making fun of the die-hard, dyed in the blue fans out there, I have a confession to make. YES, my family bought one of these things. We put a standard, we love the Cowboys message on it and intend to take pleasure in going past it for the next 30 years.

There are a lot of # 1 fans in Cowboy Land. A lot of folks still like the “how bout them Cowboys” line that Jimmy Johnson made famous. Thank goodness there are still fans out there who still and will always love Coach Landry. There are more than a few that will bring a tear to your eye as they remember Dad, Papa, or whoever it was that instilled in them a love for the Dallas Cowboys. I am definitely not making fun of any of these either because that was my eye the tears were welling up in.

BUT, some of them were just fun ideas. I will keep looking them over as I make the pilgrimage out to the new stadium. For now i will just show you a couple of them. I would love to hear of any other good ones.

The sneakers are mine, figured since they were the right colors i would include them at no extra charge. Thanks for your time.
