official post game wrap up

okay that was fun. it was cold and windy and rainy and snowy even.
not much but a little snow did fall.
it was hilarious when the crowd realized it was snowing a huge cheer erupted.
from grown people!!...for those of you not from texas, snow makes everybody here
act funny. it was just like the 2 times it ever snowed while i was in school.
the game just seemed well in hand from early on and the atmosphere around the
stadium reflected that. partying seemed to be the main thing. the thanksgiving day
crowd is always different than any other game. not too many jets fans where i was
and they seemed to know their team had no chance.
the T-New interception was amazing..he really snagged that ball outta the air.
romo seemed a little off at first but to be honest i think the whole team came out
to start the game way pumped up. anyway nice to be 10-1 for the FIRST TIME EVER
and i gotta check to make sure nobody got hurt, but man that was fun. later Poke

I checked the injuries and as best I can tell The Good Guys came out in good shape. Crayton is still nursing an ankle and is questionable. Wade Phillips high-five hand seems to be 100%. Everything else looks to be the same.
From the warm and dry couch here it seemed as if the play calling was conservative.
Have I ever told you college football is a fun game to watch. I'm rooting for Kansas today. I want them to go undefeated and meet undefeated Hawaii for the National Championship. If you are in Arkansas the week after Christmas and you think you see me wearing an Arkansas t-shirt you are most likely right. I lost a wager with my sis-in-law The Professor at Arkansas. I'd just about as soon sit in a bucket of syrup.
Have I said anything yet about being very angry with Time Warner Cable.

im betting crayton plays.
it is a good day to watch football from the warmth of a couch!!
i too am rooting for kansas to go undefeated, and i watched hawaii
win last night. but you know those
2 will never be in the bcs championship game. i watched parts of your LSU game...that McFadden is a player and if Jerry can figure out a way to get him I would be happy ( and I love the runners we have)..that guy is just too good.

This is to good not to pass on. Chris Collingsworth made reference to the "Mike Vanderjagt liquored up kicker award" tonight on the SNF halftime show. It came after Keith Olberman did his "Worst Person" award which by the way was Denver's kicker, Todd Sauerbrun for kicking to Devin Hester not once but twice. Both returns, one a punt the other a kick-off produced the same result.
...I digress...
The Collingsworth remark reminded me of the loathing my Little Brother had for of the afore mentioned rejected kicker.

sure bring up a hated name from the past and try to ruin the holidays..
however since i am a bona fide
journalist i did some quick research
( okay i looked on wikipedia), i guess the liquored up kicker is still
looking for a job kicking. i also
found out he is a canadian !!!
how did i not know that before ??
his official website shows him still
in a cowboys uniform, and never mentions he has been cut !!
