this week is definitely big.
big in figuring out who leads the NFC East.
big in seeing how good our 3-4 defense is.
big in showing how Tank Johnson works out.
big in being consistent on offense against someone who has seen us already this year.
big for deciding who to use to replace our hurt rookie Fullback( does Garrett use Hoyte
or a TE to do the blocking and catching short passes)
big because nothing has been decided yet, other teams keep winning too ya know.
BUT let me slip away from the NFL for just a second, a long awaited second.
BIG BIG BIG because this week, for the first time in their 41 year history my old
high school football team has made the Texas High School Football Playoffs !!!!!!!!
A lot of people are happy about that because even when we weren't good those folks
supported the football team. ( least they did when I was there a gajillion years ago.
So way to go Raiders !!!!
I just got me a feeling that this is gonna be a good weekend for the Boys.

A BIG win! Take a deep breath, relax, have a beverage, soak in the hot-tub...tonight. Tomorrow after you get up and get going, after breakfast, after the second cup of coffee, GET YOUR GAME FACE ON! Should there actually be a Cowboy player reading this, get in the film room, assignments, routes, schemes, stop those stupid undisciplined penalties, THINK! This wasn't the end of the season. The 'Boys are still looking at three divisional games. This is not a free pass to the playoffs. Now we've got to win the games we are supposed to win. This is the NFL, the big league of football. These guys don't get big contracts because they are bad football players. Also-rans play for pride. Rivalries create strange outcomes. Daddy always said "on any given day, any team can beat any other team".
